Balboa students in grades 1st through fifth grade have access to tablets or laptops. Teachers incorporate technology lessons daily aiming for proficiency in using electronic devices. In grades 3rd to fifth grade students develop lessons, presentations, research and testing skills to prepare them for state test and a every day solving or worldly problems. Recently, Balboa invested in 3-D pens and printers to help students take their designs and inquiries in math, science and their daily questioning of the world and create master pieces using these devices.
